This photo was taken several ago when one of my dogs, little Lily, had a nasty fall. We brought her immediately to the vet and, after an xray test result showed a fractured left front leg, she was immediately sedated for surgery.
|My poor Lily! It took awhile before the cast was taken off.
I remember this very well because when we took her home from the vet, she was still groggy. The vet said the injured leg was still numb from the anesthesia so she was unable to move properly yet. My heart instantly went out to her. She looked genuinely sad just by looking at her eyes and obviously wanting extra TLC from me and my husband. And we did, but my husband and I couldn’t help but laugh at her cast though. It was bigger than she was.
Ladies and gentlemen, meet Joe…
Mahusay itong mag-tago. Lalo na pag bath time o may nagawa itong kasalanan. Odi kaya’y pag nakita niya akong may bitbit na camera. Camera-shy siya e. Notice the bald patch on his right leg? It was shaved when he suffered from a severe case of diarrhea and the vet had to put an IV on to rehydrate him.
Ar we der yet? Ar we der yet? Ar we der yet? Ar we der yet? Ar we der yet? Ar we der yet?
Hi guys, it’s my first time to join 🙂
That’s our Joe, our 3month old puppy, checking out one of our friendly and shiny visitors.
In 2006, I was assigned to the coastal town of Kep and the whole family – me, my husband, and our dog Max – relocated. We stayed in a guesthouse on a hill with a sweeping view of the Bokor mountain and the Gulf of Thailand. Almost every day, after lunchtime, we all retreated to our hammocks on the mini-patio and spent the lazy afternoon enjoying the view. The breath-taking view and the refreshing sea breeze lulled us all to sleep, Max included.
This week’s entry to Furry Friday Fun is Ruby, taken when she was not even a year old. Today, at 4 years old, she’s still seen riding the bicycle with her owner A, my former boss.
Kitty was my mother’s cat. She was a stray cat and when my mother adopted her, she followed her around never leaving my mother’s side.Kitty, I was told, died of old age recently.
Lily. Last year, the poor dog fell off the chair where she was sleeping. Fractured her paw. She stayed in the clinic a few days after the surgery.
This is my first entry for this week’s Furry Friday.
Max, half-breed Keeshond, age 8-10weeks old
When we brought her home, she was a very quiet dog and liked to keep to herself. This was taken days before she contracted distemper. A cocktail of injections was given by the vet to her everyday for 3months. Luckily, she survived. Except for her bad teeth and excessive shedding, she is very active and healthy.
Come join the Furry Friday Fun here.
