Fiji dreaming, with a sunset postcard

Sunset perfection, casting that magical glow over the beach. Seriously, postcard perfection!

This postcard was sent by my awesome friend, Dylan, and is giving me some serious island-envy. Talk about breathtaking – those fiery colours and the calm ocean… it practically screams tranquility. Can you imagine being there, toes in the sand, watching this unfold in real life? Sigh.

This postcard is a double first for me! Not only is it the first (and maybe only?) one I’ve ever received from Fiji, but it’s also the inspiration for my very first entry in this week’s Thursday Postcards Hunt. That magical Fijian sunset is definitely postcard perfection, and it holds a special place in my collection for both reasons!

I’m still here.

Hello from the kingdom of wonder! I’m back to blogging after a long hiatus of three years. A lot has changed in my life since then, some good, some bad, some ugly. But I’m not here to wallow in the past, I’m here to celebrate the present and anticipate the future.

I’m still living and working in Phnom Penh, the dynamic capital of Cambodia. I adore this country and its people, and I want to share my stories and perspectives with you. I hope you’ll accompany me on this adventure of exploration and transformation, as I write about the things that interest me, and maybe you too.

I’ve decided to start anew, so I’ve archived all my old posts. They are still there, waiting for me to revisit them someday, when I need a reminder of who I was and who I’ve become. But for now, I want to focus on the new, the thrilling, the unknown.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading my blog, and I hope you’ll leave me some comments too. I’d love to hear from you, whether you’re an old friend or a new one. Let’s connect and chat, and maybe we’ll discover something from each other.
